Art in the Wild is growing a fund to bring public art together with applied environmental science in a program devoted to improving water quality. Public art will bring clean-water educational information installed on the environmental reclamation site to a wider audience. We are truly grateful to Artist Linda Beeman for donating her work, “Shy That Way” to be featured on our site.
The Committee’s first effort will focus on plans to transform the Michigan Avenue corridor between Lansing’s east side and East Lansing/Michigan State University. Our vision is to place art that engages our senses and imagination, drawing visitors to a destination that celebrates our community’s economic growth, green spaces and water resources.
